Early morning on a spontaneous road trip down the Great Ocean Road I decided to head down to Lorne Point for the sunrise. A freezing cold morning awaited but also did some amazing conditions and fresh winter air. No surf but some amazing colors came out this morning while local fisherman and dog walkers were getting the most out of the morning before these clouds set in followed by rain for the rest of the day. This image was a standout for me after many waves broke against the rocks. I shot from a few different angles but this one seemed to catch the best backwash providing some great little moments against the rising sun… Enjoy!
